Super excited for this new semester, new subject, new lecturer, oh the joy!:)
We were required to research art movements for our first class so straight to the library I went where the books for the history of art were huuuge. Nonetheless, I grabbed the thickest one and found myself lost for hours in the ages of art.
I try my best to apprieciate all kinds of artworks, but I must say my first two loves have always been surrealism and abstract. Despite their emphasis on the subconscious, these two movements include works that were well-thought out and logically perform. Truly mind blowing.
The list of art movements just goes on and on, but here's a few I've looked into:
POP ART |
DE STIJL(aka Neoplasticism) |
DIGITAL ART |
ROCOCO |
ABSTRACT EXPRESSIONISM |
POST IMPRESSIONISM |
REALISM |
CUBISM |
SURREALISM |
DADAISM |
GRAFFITI |
-toodles-
